When I first read about big tech buying people’s homes on a very large scale. I heard their ethos in my head, “We want to disrupt our industry.” Well, disrupt indeed! One personal article from the SF Chronicle and another from geekwire. I’ve read many others. One blamed the algorithms. I blame greed.
Even Zillow CEO Rich Barton apologized for being “disruptive.” Makes me think, who oversaw the analytics/sales of Zillow’s iBuying arm? Someone should get fired in my opinion.
I use Flipboard to get news sources. Here’s a compilation of articles regarding iBuyers.
What do you think? Are you aware of what just happened?
