Bay Area Housing gets push from eager buyers

I wondered about how the Bay Area housing supplies and prices would reveal as the COVID-19 pandemic extends our shelter-in-place past seven weeks.

Based on this Mercury News article, March sales dropped by 10% yet prices continue to climb. A mix of sellers pulling their homes off the market which creates less supply—a push and pull real estate dynamic.

Before this pandemic, did your real estate acumen predict this outcome or are you surprised? Relieved?

Please comment. Stay Safe and Sane.
